Makerspaces
Coding and computational thinking
Makerspaces are spaces with tools (digital or non-digital) and materials where people can work creatively inventing, making prototypes, designing, building, exploring and coding. In an educational context, the focus is on design-and-build projects where students engage in collaborative problem-solving to create something purposeful. This unit explains the 'how' and 'why' of makerspaces, including ideas and resources to support makerspaces learning.
