Count back to solve subtraction equations (Pt 3)

Throughout this unit students will practice counting back in tens and ones to solve a series of subtraction equations, both with and without the assistance of place value equipment. Students will then use this technique to solve a word problem, calculating how many pages of his book Joe still has to read and how many goldfish John has.
