Make whole tens when adding (Part A)

Throughout this unit students use their knowledge of tens to fill in the missing numbers and make the next whole ten, with the assistance of a template. They will then use the same method to complete a word equation. The students learning is scaffolded to the next level as they are required to circle the two numbers in an equation that make a whole ten, then solve a larger word equation.
