Use a calendar

A great unit for teaching or revising the skills needed to use a calendar correctly. In the first two activities, students are presented with a calendar page for a particular month then given a range of questions to answer, e.g. Write the dates of all the Mondays in this month, What day of the week is the 28th? as well as some entries to fill in on the calendar. In the final activity students are provided with a blank calendar page template and are given instructions on how to create their own calendar page.
