The Gardener and the Scarecrow: Ready to Read & Do series

The activities in this unit are based on The Gardener and the Scarecrow, a text from Ready to Read, Blue, 2003. In Activity 1 students create the Garden Game and find out who will get the most vegetables - the birds or the gardener. The second activity requires students to colour and cut out the items from a garden, place them in the provided garden plot and then complete the garden by drawing some plants of their own.
