Synonyms and antonyms

Packed in this e-unit are a set of five worksheets designed to assist students in understanding and using synonyms and antonyms. Students will read the original short story 'Like it or Not' before working through each exercise. They will practice matching synonyms to antonyms and synonyms to a matching synonym, inserting antonyms in to unfinished sentences, and lastly, inserting the appropriate word to complete a sentence. The unit is designed to develop and put to practice vocabulary skills in a fun and engaging manner.
