Proper nouns and common nouns

This unit consists of a short text about who did what, where and worksheets focussed on recognising common and proper nouns. The first worksheet gives students definitions of both types of noun, then sets exercises on each with examples to assist students' understanding. The second worksheet focuses on identifying proper nouns; the third on common nouns. Worksheet 4 has a picture of a festival. Students need to label all the common and proper nouns they can name in it.
