Young people making a difference
This engaging lesson plan contains a learning outcome, success criteria, pre-lesson preparation, resources, learning sequences and a conclusion. The teacher introduces the learning outcome of the lesson by showing students a video on the different young people can make, and leads a discussion afterwards. In the second activity students will pair off and create interview questions for a community member who has made a difference. The last collaborative class activity in the lesson will give students a sense of making a difference to those around them! Students are then given time to write in their learning logs and reflect on the lesson. The lesson also provides a creative homework exercise for children to work on at home!
