What about malnutrition?
This engaging lesson plan contains a learning outcome, success criteria, pre-lesson preparation, resources, learning sequences and a conclusion. By the end of the lesson students will have gained an awareness of the global loss of species. The teacher begins the lesson with an introduction on malnutrition, followed by sharing a video and book with the students. The teacher will ask students to change the stories ending. In the second exercise students will create a "food-and-hunger" board game. Students will plan a food drive in the last task of the lesson, before writing in their learning log to reflect on the lesson. Students are also given a homework exercise to complete at home.
